These groups support parents to enhance their toddler’s development through engaging and stimulating activities. Parents will learn a variety of techniques they can utilize during everyday interactions with their child, including tools for promoting; social-emotional development, motor skills, communication, feeding, and managing behaviors.
Our group facilitator, Heather Morton, has over 10 years of experience working with children 0-5 years old, a degree in communication disorders, sign language proficiency, and specialized training in working with a range of children with special needs and facilitating language in children ages 2-3. As a Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) as well as a fellow parent, Heather brings to her groups a wealth of knowledge that she is passionate to share with other parents. These groups aim to provide a supportive and collaborative environment, where parents are given the necessary tools to evaluate their child’s needs, break down the skills they would like to promote, and enhance their child’s growth in fun and engaging ways.
